Farhad Shakibi

Hello, I am Farhad Shakibi and I am born in Iran, but I am living in the Netherlands since 2015. I am international referee in Kata and Continental Referee in Committee and I have 7th dan from IJF since 2011. I was Kata referee in first Katachampionship in France and also later in Hungary. I was many years kata and committee champion (gold en silver medal) in Iran from the age of 18 till the age of 50 when I had to leave Iran.

Hallo, ik ben Farhad Shakibi en ik ben geboren in Iran, maar woon sinds 2015 in Nederland. Ik ben internationaal scheidsrechter in Kata en Continent Azië scheidsrechter in Committee. Ik heb mijn 7e dan van de IJF in 2011 behaald. 
Ik was Kata-scheidsrechter in het eerste Katakampioenschap in Frankrijk en later ook in Hongarije. In Iran was ik vele jaren kata- en commissiekampioen (gouden en zilveren medaille) van mijn 18e tot mijn 50e, toen ik Iran moest verlaten.

In Asia I was katajudo-teacher and a few times I teached katajudo-referees in Thailand, Myanmar, Iran and other Asian countries. Also I was an expert of IOC in Myanmar for coaching, training and advice about food, judo-technics and tactics and Kata.

In Azië was ik katajudo-docent en een paar keer gaf ik les aan katajudo-scheidsrechters in Thailand, Myanmar, Iran en andere Aziatische landen. Ook was ik een expert van IOC in Myanmar voor coaching, training en advies over voeding, judo-techniek en tactiek en Kata.

My deaf-students won gold medal in the Nageno Kata Deaflympics Championship 2013 in Bulgary. Also other students of me won silver and bronze medals in World and Asia Championship Kata.

Mijn dove leerlingen hebben een gouden medaille gewonnen op het Nageno Kata Deaflympics Championship 2013 in Bulgarije. Ook andere studenten van mij hebben een zilveren en bronzen medailles gewonnen in de Wereld- en Aziëkampioenschappen Kata.

In Iran I was coach of the National team for two championships in Macau and Switzerland. In both championships they have 6 gold medals and 1 silver medal and the first place as a team. I had a good judoschool in Iran with many championstudents in Kata and Committee. Many of my students also become coach and referee. Mr. Derakhshan, Mr. Comata and Mr. Fujita and more persons knows about me. I did a lot of things in judo but that’s impossible to write down here.

In Iran was ik coach van het nationale team voor twee kampioenschappen, in Macau en Zwitserland. In beide kampioenschappen hebben ze 6 gouden medailles en 1 zilveren medaille en de eerste plaats als team gewonnen. Ik had een goede judoschool in Iran met veel kampioensstudenten in Kata en Committee. Veel van mijn studenten worden ook coach en scheidsrechter. De heer Derakhshan, de heer Comata en de heer Fujita en meer personen kennen mij. Ik heb veel dingen in judo gedaan, maar dat is onmogelijk om hier op te schrijven.

Judo in the Netherlands

Since I am living in the Netherlands I started again with judo, because I have good judofriends here too, like Mr. Ariya Sheykhhoseyni and Bijan Vazifeshenas and Richard de Bijl.

Sinds ik in Nederland woon, ben ik weer begonnen met judo.  Ook hier heb ik goede judovrienden zoals dhr. Ariya Sheykhhoseyni en Bijan Vazifeshenas en Richard de Bijl.

In the Netherlands I also give lessons, I am doing dan-examens, I am a referee and a coach. Also I am active at the club of Richard de Bijl in Spijkenisse.

In Nederland geef ik les, neem ik dan-examens af en ben ik scheidsrechter en coach. Ook ben ik actief bij de sportclub van Richard in Spijkenisse.

I want to teach all kinds of subjects about judo in my video’s. I start with the basics because I think it is important to have a good base.
